I know some of you guys don't like hearing about Christmas stuff at this point in the year. I'm with you, by the way. However, I do want to submit this design to Blipshift well before Christmas, before it becomes obsolete for another 365 days. Here's a quick Photoshop sketch I came up with last night, because I didn't have anything better to do.
My first concern is that it doesn't look quite Christmas-y enough as it is. Anybody know how I can remedy that? Maybe some tinsel/lights on the tree? Also, I know that the presents don't have bows or anything. I'm working on that. My second concern is that it doesn't quite seem car-related enough. My third concern is that the shape the presents and tree make look kind of... inappropriate? I don't know. You guys be the judge.

I can think of a couple of directions you could go with this design:
1) Make the gifts all car parts with bows on them (rims, exhaust, etc.)
2) Put the Christmas tree back in its native drag strip environment. Have a drag race set up between two cars with bows on top.

Thanks. I just need to add some Christmas flair. My family's never been one for decorations so I have no idea what it should look like haha.

make the stage lights way wider and hang a blood-thorny Jesus on the front of it?
:)

Definitely good ideas. My first paper sketch had two presents with tire marks behind them.

That might be pushing it. Probably.

I remember seeing that sketch yesterday. It definitely has a lot of promise, and I hope it gets picked up by Blipshift!

Maybe a holiday background, like a fireplace or something.

I hope you don't mind me taking inspiration from that for the description.
